Should I Query or #PitMad?

With the completion of my 2nd draft of my #murdermystery #wip, a question has occurred to me. I have never queried a book before, nor have I taken part in #PitMad on Twitter. So should I do one of those with my book when it's been cleaned up a bit? What do you guys think? I would love some imput.
